The Quiet and the Dark The first time I heard and saw Glowbug perform at a popular venue in Bellingham, WA, I was a bit perplexed and didn't quite feel where the music was leading. Now, with "Lights in the Snow", Daniel Anderson has indeed shone a light on that path. This collection of winter holiday-themed tunes flows with a modern sweetness that is neither sugary nor droll. It rings with a resonance that is evocative of the best work by Tears For Fears. I like it. A lot. Favorite track: Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
